just want to know what people think about the growing popularity of the drug “ICE” aka Crystal Meth? Just want to know if its growing in popularity in your community? Have you heard of any instances or seen or even experienced a person who was on high on Ice? What would you suggest to the governing powers to help stop the growth and popularity of the drug?
Anyone care to write something back to this.. id love to hear your points of view…

Well Ive seen my share of drugs over the years but I wouldnt go near ICE, its bad news. Yes, I have seen what it does to people and its just sad really, especially for the younger inexperienced people who dont really know what their in for. After a while the buzz from any drug becomes harder to achieve and so taking more usually happens and the after effects soon take over from the initial thrill. Best to avoid it but if youre so keen to experiment, SERIOUSLY moderation is the only way to control it, rather than have it control you.
Problematic. Highly addictive. Major pschological effects/ damage. Sure once or twice might not be an issue but this often not the case. Polydrug use is probably a bigger problem in context. Work with youth - few chronic users with ice sores, scattered thoughts, anxiety, I wouldn’t wanna go there. Generally a bigger issue with older, financially able group who like to party either out or with friends. There is no stopping drug popularity other than education, information, harm minimisation and possibly safer injecting rooms all of which our Government struggles with….but if it was your child or your partner you would soon get a grip on the practicalities of these stratergies!
